Scope of Services

What We Provide (Documentation Only)

Harley & Son provides AS9102 documentation preparation services only. Specifically, we deliver:

• AS9102 Form 1 (Part Number/Process Accountability)
• AS9102 Form 2 (Product Accountability)
• AS9102 Form 3 (Characteristic Accountability & Verification) with empty “Actual” value fields
• Ballooned drawings (optional) showing inspection point locations
• GD&T interpretation and documentation per ASME Y14.5
• Identification of all inspectable characteristics from your drawings

What We Do NOT Provide

We do NOT provide:

• Physical dimensional inspection or measurement services
• Access to measurement equipment (CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Actual measurement values or inspection data
• Material testing, certifications, or analysis
• Special process certifications or testing
• Non-conformance resolution or engineering support
• Correction or completion of incomplete engineering drawings

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

1. Providing complete, legible engineering drawings with all necessary specifications
2. Ensuring you have authorization to share technical data (including ITAR/EAR compliance)
3. Performing all physical inspections and measurements of your parts
4. Recording actual dimensional values in the “Actual” columns of Form 3
5. Obtaining material certifications, special process certifications, and test results
6. Completing final review and approval of the First Article Inspection
7. Making conformity determinations based on your measurement data

Deliverables and Use

Deliverables are documentation aids only and do not constitute product acceptance, certification, or regulatory approval. No affiliation with SAE; AS9102 is referenced for identification only.

Scheduling

Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days per part after complete inputs. Rush options may be available (24‑hour or same‑day).

Revisions

One revision pass is included for minor corrections. Additional revisions may be billed.

Payment & Refunds

Payment Terms

Payment is due upfront via Stripe before work begins. We accept all major credit cards.

Quality Guarantee & Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our AS9102 documentation. If you are not satisfied with our deliverables:

1. Before Work Begins: Full refund available if you cancel before we start reviewing your drawings
2. Quality Issues: If our documentation contains errors, omissions, or doesn’t meet AS9102 standards, we will:
   • First, revise the documentation at no additional cost, OR
   • Provide a full refund if revisions don’t resolve the issue
3. After Delivery: If you identify errors or missing characteristics within 30 days of delivery, we’ll correct them at no charge

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available for:

• Errors in customer-provided drawings (we document what you provide)
• Customer changes to drawing requirements after work has started
• Disagreements about interpretation of ambiguous drawing callouts
• Work completed to AS9102 standards that customer simply doesn’t want

How to Request a Refund

Email support@as9102.report with your order number and specific concerns. We respond within 1 business day.

Confidentiality

The parties are bound by the Mutual NDA available at /legal/mnda.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our cumulative liability will not exceed the amounts paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

California law governs, with venue in Orange County, CA.
